Battery information.
A high-quality battery management system is important and not only ensures optimal protection of both the battery and the cells, but also ensures that it cannot be damaged while charging or discharging the battery. This type of electronic control makes the battery "intelligent" and helps extend its life. All Lindtbergh eBike batteries are of course equipped with the mandatory CE mark. Among other things, it guarantees that the battery does not overheat at high load and that the charging process stops when the battery is fully charged.
The right battery for each of our e-bikes.
Phylion batteries are an efficient energy source with a long service life. Thanks to their enormous mileage, long service life and intelligent battery management system, our lithium-ion batteries are among the most modern on the market. Phylion e-bike rechargeable batteries combine low weight with ergonomic design and easy handling. Phylion lithium-ion batteries with an energy reserve of 500Wh, 625Wh or 720Wh provide the power for many of our e-bikes. With DualBattery Technology – the use of two batteries in parallel – we achieve a top capacity of 1,250Wh. Depending on the e-bike model, we install frame batteries, pannier rack batteries or ultra-modern Phylion Power Tube batteries that are fully integrated into the frame.

Battery Management System.
The battery management system of the high-quality lithium-ion batteries detects possible sources of interference and protects cells from overload. There is a suitable battery for every need and every type of e-bike, from the luggage carrier variant, via the frame battery to the integrated solution. The dual battery is perfect for Touring e-bikers, long-distance commuters from work or cargo bikers. The combination of two Samsung batteries delivers up to 1,250 watt hours.

Charging the e-bike battery .
When charging your battery, you can remove it from the bike or leave it on. As soon as the charging process begins, the battery charge indicator on your battery will flash or light up. As soon as the cells are fully charged, the charging process is automatically terminated and the battery charge indicator goes out. Thanks to the short charging times, the battery can also be charged well during a lunch break, for example. A full charge cycle with the included Phylion standard charger takes just 6.0 to 7.0 hours. With dual battery technology, both batteries can be charged separately with the charger or simultaneously directly on the e-bike.

Storing the battery on a cool place.
Store your battery in a dry place – such as a cool cellar. If you want to store your e-bike battery for a longer period of time, it should be charged to about 50%. You should charge the battery when only one or two lights are on or after six months at the latest. Preferably store it separately in a dry place at a temperature of about 20°C. Storing your battery correctly will extend its lifespan.
What to do in case of damaged battery.
Don't take chances with damaged batteries or chargers. Damaged batteries should never be recharged and damaged chargers should also not be used. Contact us to discuss the best way to proceed for a safe solution. Your safety is our top priority.
Use of the battery in the winter.
The ideal operating temperature of the battery is + 20 degrees Celsius. Make sure not to store or charge the battery outdoors in winter. It is best if you only place the battery on the bike at the start of your ride.

What factors can affect battery range?
There are several factors that can affect the range of the battery. The condition of the battery and battery capacity are of influence, but also the e-bike and the rider have an influence on the range. Is the e-bike well maintained, is the tire pressure sufficient and what profile do the tires have, what is the weight of the rider and the load, in what sitting position is the rider and in what support level is one riding. The weather conditions also play an important role, such as, what terrain or surface is one cycling, what temperature and wind conditions are there.
