Sustainability has been deeply rooted in corporate culture from the very beginning, as Lindtbergh's pioneers were already aware of their responsibility for the environment and society. Today, sustainability is anchored in our business strategy as an important strategic business objective. We are determined to contribute to a positive global change.
We are committed to improving the impact of our products and business practices, preserving the environment for future generations and promoting positive change in our communities. We develop and promote Corporate Responsibility. This program focuses on three main pillars: People, Product and Planet.
The people.
We believe that all people involved in our value chain should be treated fairly and with dignity and respect.
Ensuring that all people in our supply chain are treated fairly, with respect and with dignity is something we and our customers value. The ultimate goal is to improve the social and environmental conditions under which our products are produced and distributed. We believe that this goal can be achieved through close cooperation with our partners.
The product.
We strive to maximize the sustainable nature of our products while maintaining high levels of performance through innovation, technology and design.
At Lindtbergh, we are committed to continuously improving our products. We strive for better performing bicycles, using the latest technologies. In addition, we have consciously taken steps towards sustainability; our e-bikes are shipped pre-assembled in large cardboard boxes, and we make recycling easy for our customers. Where possible, we use recycled paper FSC-certified cellulose, while keeping the use of foil and plastic to an absolute minimum.
The planet.
We take into account that the Earth's resources should be used in such a way that ecosystems and future generations are not adversely affected.
Lindtbergh recognizes the increasing scarcity of raw materials and the negative impact on the environment caused by human activities. We take our responsibility and are determined to actively contribute to sustainable solutions. Our goal is not to react, but to act actively in the interest of the planet and future generations.
