​Lindtbergh e-bikes. Passion for the product through and through. ​ “Lindtbergh stands for riding pleasure and comfort. When you ride a Lindtbergh, a smile appears on everyone's face,” says Paul Brand with a smile. The lively and cheerful Dutchman is part of the entrepreneurial duo that started developing and putting together the first Lindtbergh Touring electric bike from Arnhem, the Netherlands, in the early 2020s. ​ It was not initially because he was fascinated by the new technology of e-bikes that Brand decided to get started with Lindtbergh. “In the beginning, I had little to do with electric bikes,” says Brand, "but after I bought my first e-bike, the technology fascinated me more and more and I discovered that there was still so much new to discover and improve.” ​ The seed was planted and together with his business partner Arjen van Mels they decided to develop and assemble a new touring e-bike. Quality, comfort, convenience and a fair price were central.

But how are we going to sell our e-bikes? Due to the increased popularity of e-bikes in recent years, finding dealers in the Benelux and Germany has become more difficult. In addition, Lindtbergh would become one of the many brands sold by a dealer, which could reduce the focus of a dealer. That is why it was decided that Lindtbergh would initially focus on selling directly to the customer. ​ According to Brand and Van Mels, they did not know much about technology at first, but every potential customer they approached immediately saw that a Lindtbergh e-bike is a premium product. After taking a test drive, many people were immediately sold. The Lindtbergh was an immediate hit with its comfortable low entry, powerful engine and battery with a large range. And when the first users heard the sales price, they were completely sold. So much comfort and quality for a fair price
