Our batteries generally last a long time.

 

In principle, our batteries require little or no further care or maintenance. The batteries are fully encased and waterproof, but be always careful when washing the e-bike. We are not in favor of using a high-pressure cleaner when washing your e-bike. The small openings allow water to seep in.

What to do to ensure long battery life. To maintain an optimal capacity of your battery, we recommend that you let the battery run down completely once every 3 to 4 months. In the colder months, charge your battery in a heated shed or garage or in your home. A low temperature [below 7 degrees] has a negative effect on the capacity of the battery and therefore the range. However, cold does not damage the battery.

If you ever have a problem with your battery, we are of course there for you. Every bicycle shop has a service tool that can communicate with the battery management software.​ This tool can diagnose any problems within minutes without the need for complicated mechanical work. Our e-bikes come standard with a 2-year warranty on all electrical parts, including the battery, so that you can enjoy your bike ride without any worries.
